The amazingly talented J-C-N Thaikoon loved music from an early age. In his early years he recorded alongside his friends Big P & N-A-Double-T under the moniker “Dek North”, a Thai-American rap group, while using the name “Karmanize”.
A chance meeting in Thaitown (Hollywood, California) would lead to JCN joining his Dek North brothers in forming the Thai-American hip hop collective Thaikoon.
It’s not just JCN’s unique ability to both sing and rap incredibly well to make him stand out, but he is also an accomplished songwriter. In Thaikoon’s debut album, he is credited for creating more than half the hooks for the album. During the album tour’s press interviews, the group commonly referred to JCN as “Captain Hook.”
JCN continues writing incredible music, all the while doing a handful of guest appearances. His most recent release was “Ni-Sai Poochai”, a Thai-English street anthem featuring Big P Thaikoon & KK Thaikoon.
